- More time for relationships since you do not have to do the full responsibilities of all the other stuff the head coach needs to do
- I have taken off with my coaching abilities when I decided I didn’t know anything, and tried to learn something new everyday
- Humility comes from the world showing us we are small. I need to just make my circle as good as I can
- When I stopped thinking less about myself, and more about others my life just took off
- See the world like a chess board and not a bullseye
- Being comfortable having more interest in being satisfied
- Look forward to those mental conversations where I struggle
- Meditate daily
- Help kids put things in perspective and open up their minds that other people have it so much worse
- Play for the guy next to you, what can you do to make someone else a hero, tell them I love them, and let them go play!!
- Baserunning is a life commitment - if you are going to go, go hard. Go all in. Don’t go half way
- Take advantage of all the defenses laziness
- Constantly having our baserunners look for more, look for more
- Let’s make it about somebody else and watch how good things turn out
- Celebrate selflessness!!!
